Valerie Bertinelli has her cell phone set to “do not disturb.”
After successfully completing a multi-destination book tour in honor of her new cookbook; Luxuriously, Early this month, one day at a time The alum announced in an Instagram post on Friday that she was taking a break from social media because she was “mentally and emotionally exhausted.”
“The last six weeks or so…have been really tough,” Bertinelli wrote. “And while I’m incredibly grateful for all your support for my book and for all the people I’ve been lucky enough to meet, this introvert here in extrovert clothes is a spiritual I need a break for my health.”

While the former Food Network star admitted that she “didn’t need to announce” her departure from the internet, she decided to make a public statement because “if I don’t do it, how many of you will… I know how worried you are about me.” Please post often enough. ” She continued, “But I’m honest.”

She previously reflected on the “kindness” fans showed her during conversations with her Enjoy In an Instagram post in April, she said she attended a book signing and wrote, “I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone for supporting me and for your kind responses to updates on my life. ” he wrote.
