Valerie Bertinelli is taking a mental health break from social media after book promotional tour Indulge: Delicious and decadent dishes that are fun to share.
“The last six weeks… have been really tough,” Bertinelli said in an Instagram post. “And while I’m incredibly grateful for all your support for my book and for all the people I’ve been lucky enough to meet, this introvert here in extrovert clothes is a spiritual I need a break for my health.”
she continued. “I know, I know. This isn’t an airport, so I don’t need to announce my departure. But I know some of you will be worried if I don’t post often.”
Bertinelli assured her followers that she was fine, saying: “It’s good to take a little social media cleanse, detox and take a mental health break.”
“I’m grateful to be in a position in my life where I can fully recognize when I’m feeling overwhelmed and mentally and emotionally exhausted,” she added. “Everyone, please be careful. He’ll be back before you know it.”
