Canada-based naturopath Dr. Janine Bowling shares her top three tips for pooping instantly.
“No. 1 is a fig,” Bowling explained last week on TikTok, which has already reached more than 4 million views.
“Figs are amazing. They’re high in fiber and great for relieving constipation,” she continued.
According to the American Heart Association, six dried figs contain about 5 grams of fiber, which is more than 17 percent of the recommended daily fiber allowance of 25 to 30 grams.
The second suggestion to tackle right away is drinking water.
“Of course, you need to be properly hydrated with good quality water to keep things moving,” Bowling points out.
And finally, doctors claim that adding olive oil to coffee can make things go better.
“Put olive oil in your coffee, yes, this is the recipe I shared. It also helps with weight loss,” she reported, citing a 2018 study published in the European Journal of Nutrition.
This study found that consuming extra virgin olive oil helped women reduce body fat and lower blood pressure.
And Mr. Bowling seems to have noticed something. According to SELF, olive oil’s high fat content “stimulates colonic motility,” making stool easier to pass.
In the comments section of Bowring’s TikTok, several people shared why. they I’m going to the bathroom right away.

Another joked, “Number 4 is buying Starbucks and walking around the mall.”

The Post has reached out to Bowling for comment.
This isn’t the first time a naturopathic doctor has shared insight about bowel movements.
In June, Bowling described the viral “ghost poop” phenomenon and claimed that if you experience it, it may mean you are one of the “healthiest people on the planet” did.
A less scary term refers to what happens when you go to the bathroom and find there’s no poop.

“That’s because they’re high in fiber, have enough essential fatty acids, their circadian rhythms are naturally aligned with the day’s light-dark cycle, and they have ghost poop,” she says. she explained.
