Unlike the traditional view of four seasonal changes, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) observes five seasons, with late summer being the fifth. These changes in our planet are thought to help our bodies utilize what it needs to heal. They also match and influence the chemical composition and properties of our precious plants and essential oils.
