health and wellness trends
There are many articles, new reports, and new concepts emerging about wellness, health, and overall well-being. The coronavirus pandemic of the past few years has shown us how weak our immune systems are and that we need to improve our healthcare and change our lifestyles to live healthier lives. I did. There has been a sudden increase in interest in the health and wellness industry as many people are trying to find health and wellness protocols rather than quick cures for illnesses.
In today’s world, we have moved to faster-paced lifestyles, more stressful working hours, partners are both working, and children are busy with their own lives. And we barely have time to cook, eat together, or even sit down and have a quick meal. Our lifestyle has become faster and we have lost touch with our natural way of life.

SDM Naturopathic & Yoga Science Institute
The first naturopathy center established by SDM Group is located in Dharmasthala named Shantivana. It had very modest beginnings. We had her 10-bed hospital, a very rudimentary facility with every resource we could find at the time. I had a concept and an idea, but I couldn’t find the right resources to take it to the next level. As the demand increases and we acquire more sadhakas, more people are coming and finding a better way of life. The 10-bed complex evolved into the facility we see today. Shantivana grew naturally through a lot of trial and error, and we learned a lot along the way. But one thing we saw was that our sadhakas kept returning. They continued to believe in the system. They continued to find a lot of positive energy and a positive way of living through this system. And demand only grew.
So the next hospital was built in Udupi and called Palika or Soukyavana. Seeing the lack of properly trained doctors, we established the first Naturopathy and Yoga University with PG courses in Naturopathy and Yoga Science in Ujire. And now our students serve in various institutions around the world.
Kshemavana Campus
The Kshemavana project is the culmination of this 35-year learning journey that we have seen over the years of the Sadhaka faith, and this is an upgraded version in which all our traditional values remain intact. Also, upgrade yourself to keep up with the changing trends of the day, modern thinking, and the latest trends in health and wellness.
When Kshemavana’s project was first conceived, it was intended to be a healing space that soothes all the senses. We didn’t want it to be a sterile environment like a hospital where people feel like patients. Rather, we wanted to give this place a comfortable and safe feel, like a home away from home. The entire campus was therefore conceptualized as an extension of our home space, with very muted colors and very simple furniture. Dharmasthala’s collection is full of repurposed furniture and repurposed antiques. We also have a large selection of art works and commissioned works. We have created a very beautiful garden with lush greenery so that just walking around the campus will sharpen your physical senses and senses, making you feel healthy and happy.
