Yucelis Chavez is a self-proclaimed “fragrance connoisseur.”
Chavez recalls visiting family in Florida and loving the smell of their home.
“I said, ‘Oh my God, we need something like this in Iowa,'” Chavez said. “I did some research and decided I wanted to bring a new business like this to Carroll.”

Knowing that many people wanted their homes and businesses to smell good, Chavez began the process of launching Scents Everywhere, a new aromatherapy business located at 203 East 6th Street in Carroll .
Chavez first came up with the idea two years ago and began pitching his dream to others in his circle. But I knew I needed my own space to display my diffusers and scents.
Her husband owns a remodeling company, so he helped prepare the interior. Her two sons also helped her with social media marketing and website development.
When it comes to purchasing fragrance items, Chavez said there are significant benefits to buying in-person rather than online.
“For me, I think there’s more opportunity because you can get any device online, but if it’s the same product that you use for your home or business, you never know when it’s going to arrive,” Chavez said. Ta.
Chavez officially opened Scents Everywhere on December 15, 2023. Scent categories offered include floral, fruity, woody, and luxury collections. Chavez said there are more than 60 fragrances available for customers to purchase.
The diffusers in our store range from small, medium, and large sizes to car diffusers. A phone app allows customers to easily adjust the intensity of scents in their buildings, Chavez said.
According to the company’s website, its mission is to “improve the quality of people’s lives through great fragrances.”
Chavez said using an essential oil diffuser can provide benefits such as enhancing mood and atmosphere, improving sleep, improving respiratory health and boosting the immune system.

Mr. Chavez is originally from Cuba and has lived in the United States for almost 11 years. Due to the country’s communist rule, her family decided to immigrate to the country as refugees.
Chavez said all have become naturalized U.S. citizens within the past five years.
Her family includes her husband Jorge Ceballos and sons Jorge Enrique Ceballos and Victor Ceballos.
St. Everywhere is open Wednesdays from 1pm to 5pm, Thursdays from 1pm to 6pm, Fridays from 1pm to 5pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 12pm. The office will be closed Monday and Tuesday, but Chavez said he will be available for in-person visits. with the customer on that day.
