Say goodbye to sagging skin

A facial yoga expert demonstrated techniques to prevent sagging neck.

In a viral video, Elodie (@selflovewithelodie) showed her followers the simple moves she uses to sculpt her jawline.

“How to get a toned jawline and neck even in your 40s,” an Instagram user captioned the video.

She turned to the side and started to lift her chin and stick out her tongue at the same time.

Elodie lifted her chin and stuck her tongue out towards her nose.

She repeated this movement several times before moving on to the next step.

She turned towards the camera, her mouth closed, and her tongue pressed against the inside of her cheek.

Elodie moved her tongue in circles inside her mouth, concentrating on the area around her lips.

She gave it a full turn in one direction, then switched it to the other direction.

Elodie stared straight ahead, rubbing the hand under her chin as she took the final step.

She called this simple anti-aging process a way to “enhance natural beauty.”

A friend of mine had old-woman-like hands as a teenager, and she shared her anti-aging secrets with me, including what to use after washing your face.

“Say goodbye to loose skin and say hello to a more radiant you,” she told her followers.

Elodie described the facial exercises as “the secret to getting a sculpted jawline and elegant neck in your 40s.”

Her followers shared their thoughts about the technique in the comments section.

“Look at her jawline! Clearly doing something right,” wrote one impressed viewer.

“So sweet! Thank you for sharing,” commented another Instagram user.

“I’m literally doing this right now because I don’t want to see my 40 year old self sagging out here. I can’t,” a third person commented.

The experts at WebMD shared some additional benefits of facial yoga:

“These exercises not only improve facial definition and a youthful appearance, but also prevent neck, head, and jaw pain,” the researchers explained.

“Research has shown that jawline exercises may help reduce the effects of temporomandibular joint disorder, a chronic pain condition in the jaw muscles, bones and nerves.”

It is recommended to perform each exercise slowly to avoid straining the muscles.
