BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Saratoga County Agency for Aging and Youth Services has begun distributing its summer Senior Nutrition Farmers Market coupons. Coupons can be picked up at several locations, including the Agency for Aging and Youth Services at 152 West High Street in Ballston Spa, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The coupon book will contain five $5 coupons for fresh produce at local farmers markets throughout the summer, and at each distribution event, a representative from the Department of Senior and Youth Services will provide an introduction to senior resources and services.
Eligibility requirements for the voucher include being 60 years of age or older and earning at least $2,322 a month for a single-person household or $3,152 a month for a two-person household. For more information, contact the Department of Senior and Youth Services at (518) 884-4100.
