A local organization dedicated to promoting 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion, wellness and advocacy will be holding a food fundraiser this week in honor of Pink Day.
Participants will be able to pick up their orders to support the club at the Algoma Youth Wellness Hub, located at 124 Dennis Street, during lunch or dinner hours during the event on Wednesday, April 10th.
Highlights come with jacket potatoes alone or as part of a combo that includes coleslaw and a drink.

To commemorate Pink Day, which aims to raise awareness against bullying and promote inclusivity, the club, champions of 2SLGBTQIA+ rights and health, proudly announces a food fundraiser.
The event not only commemorates Pink Day, but also aims to support 2SLGBTQIA+ equity and wellness efforts within the community.
Klub, a community organization dedicated to promoting 2SLGBTQIA+ liberation, is pleased to announce the launch of its first-ever food fundraising campaign.
The initiative aims to raise funds to support programs and events that provide a safer space for gay and transgender people in the community.
The food fundraising event is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, April 10th at the Algoma Youth Wellness Hub located at 124 Dennis Street.
Participants can pick up their orders between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM or between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. The highlight of the event was the delicious Road Jacket Potatoes. Available individually for $8 or as a combo for $14. This includes coleslaw and salad. drink.
Proceeds from the fundraiser go directly to advocacy efforts, celebrations, and recreational and arts events hosted by The Club.
“Our Pink Day food fundraiser is a testament to our commitment to creating and nurturing spaces where everyone feels valued and empowered,” said club president (Pedro) Caio Ribeiro.・Shurhaus said.
“As we commemorate Pink Day, we stand in solidarity with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and advocate for our rights and well-being.”
