Papmochani Ekadashi 2024: Papmochani Ekadashi will be observed on April 5, 2024, on the 11th day of Krishna Paksha in the month of Chaitra. It is believed that a person who fasts on this day will be freed from the sins accumulated throughout his life. According to legend, after death they achieve all worldly pleasures and secure a place in heaven.

Notably, Chor Panchak will begin on April 5 at 7:12 am. As per the scriptures, auspicious activities are avoided during Panchak, but this does not affect the worship of Lord Vishnu on Ekadashi. Therefore, Ekadashi Puja is not affected by the inauspicious yoga of Panchak.
