About Dr. Sara Lobisco
Dr. Lobisco has been practicing holistic medicine for over 10 years. He became interested in holistic medicine after successfully healing two herniated discs through nutrition, yoga, supplements, and chiropractic. He is a holistic medicine instructor in New York, Vermont, and Connecticut. In addition to his training in naturopathic and functional medicine, Dr. Lobisco has extensive training in a variety of healing modalities, including therapeutic essential oils, dietary supplements, herbs, whole food supplements, nutritional medicine, and mind-body therapy. He completed an accredited four-year naturopathic graduate program at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. The program includes clinical training and a rigorous scientific curriculum that integrates conventional medicine and naturopathic medicine. Dr. Lobisco is licensed as a physician in the state of Vermont.
Dr. Lobisco is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, PhD, and Certified in Applied Kinesiology, and holds a BA in Psychology from the State University of New York at Geneseo. He is a contributing author for the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners (NABNE) and has published multiple articles in the physician journals Naturopathic Doctor News and Review Digest (NDNR) and Townsend Letter. Dr. Lobisco is also a frequent speaker on integrative medicine to medical professionals.
Dr. Lobisco currently combines her holistic and conventional medical training through writing, research, private practice, and independent contract work with supplement, nutraceutical, essential oil, and medical food companies. She also offers small private health consultations over the phone and Skype. Dr. Lobisco is also dedicated to educating and empowering readers through her blog and social media.
