
OSWEGO – The Oswego Health Foundation is holding its 9thNumber Annual 5K for Health Wellness events, An event hosted by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield will be held on August 10th.NumberRunners and walkers of all ages and levels are welcome to participate.
Oswego Health, a non-profit health care system, uses events like this one to support the health care needs and efforts of the community. The event will focus on holistic health and showcase community partners, local vendors, and resources to enhance the health of the community. Additionally, the event will feature a Kids Fun Run starting at 9 a.m. 5K for Health The run/walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. on a scenic trail on the Seneca Hill Campus, located between Fulton and Oswego, off Route 481 onto Route 45A.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three boys and girls overall in the 5K race, as well as the top three boys and girls in their age group. The Kids Fun Run also features fun prizes, including a $40 gift card to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo and passes to the Sea Breeze rides and slides for the winner of the scavenger hunt game.
