NORTH WEBSTER — By popular demand, the North Webster Community Public Library is pleased to continue offering “Meditation Mondays” throughout April. Meditation Monday is a program aimed at helping adults fight stress and find calm in their busy lives. It will be held every Monday in April at 5:30 p.m.
In today’s fast-paced world, we often feel overwhelmed and exhausted by the demands of adulthood. Meditation Monday provides a sanctuary where participants can learn valuable relaxation techniques and cultivate a sense of inner calm.
Hosted by Color Teruya and led by Teruya and other experienced instructors, this program explores a variety of meditation and mindfulness practices aimed at reducing stress and promoting overall health. Masu. From guided breathing exercises to visualization techniques, participants will have the opportunity to discover ways to cope with life’s challenges.

adult event
Come to NWCPL on Tuesday, April 2 at 10:30 a.m. or 5:30 p.m. to learn how to create an eclipse pinhole viewer. Create a viewer using recycled materials to safely view the upcoming total solar eclipse. Please register in advance.
The Roots & Branches Genealogy Club will meet on Wednesday, April 3rd at 10am. Learn more about family trees and learn tips and tricks for genealogy research.
Learn about the power of the sun with a solar cooking class on Wednesday, April 3 at 3:30 p.m. They harness the power of the sun and make solar ovens out of pizza boxes.
This week, an exercise class will be held at the library. The “Stay Healthy by Sitting” chair exercise will be held on Thursday, April 4 at 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. His Let’s Move Dance class will be held on Thursday, April 4th at 5pm. These classes are free and open to the public, and no library card is required.
Tech for Beginners: Android Cellphones will be held on Friday, April 5th at 10:15am. We will explain the apps, settings, etc., and teach you the basics of how to operate your Android phone and take advantage of its features. Please register.
Children’s events
The interactive life-size Candy Land will be in the children’s section for one week starting April 1st. This life-size board game can be played in groups of up to eight people. Games start on a first-come, first-served basis.
Baby and Toddler Storytime will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd at 10:30am and 11:30am. Registration is encouraged, but visitors are always welcome.
Preschool Storytime will be canceled this week due to Spring Break.
