The producers of “God Is Dead” are preparing to release the fifth film in the series later this year. Reports say Face Wire“God Is Not Dead: In God We Believe,” due to hit theaters nationwide on Sept. 12, “explores the intersection of faith, politics and our civic duty.”
The film comes at a time when people fear being canceled, and it highlights the importance of standing up for what you believe in and taking action to make a positive impact.
“Set during a time of political and spiritual upheaval, God Is Not Dead: In God We Trust follows the Rev. David Hill as he runs for Congress following the sudden death of the incumbent,” the synopsis reads. “Faced with powerful opponents who seek to remove religion from politics, the film highlights the importance of religious values in shaping policy and governance.”
“Now more than ever, Christians must recognize that they are called to offer hope to a nation that feels hopeless,” Hill declares from the pulpit at the film’s opening. trailer“Faith begins where our comfort zone ends. We need to step out into that faith.”
The film stars David A.R. White reprising his role as Reverend David Hill, as well as Isaiah Washington, Dean Cain, and Scott Baio. PureFlixGovernor Mike Huckabee, Raymond Arroyo, and Grammy Award-winning Christian band, The Newsboys, will also be making a guest appearance.
The band will release “In God We Trust” on July 19th as part of the film and new album, “Worldwide Revival: Part One.”

Christian streaming platform Great American Pureflix will be releasing the latest installment in the “God’s Not Dead” series.
“‘God Is Not Dead: In God We Believe’ is a bold reminder that complacency can erode our freedoms, rights, and faith if we don’t actively defend and preserve them.” Said Producer Michael Scott said: “If we truly believe in a faithful God who is ‘always good’, then we must be willing to speak up and stand up for our beliefs, even in the face of great risk and opposition.”
