If you recently purchased vitamins at Costco or Walmart, you may want to check to see if they are part of a recall issued by Factors Group of Nutritional Companies Inc. and Health Canada.
Health Canada said the lot may contain metal fibers, but a notice posted on the ministry’s website did not say whether anyone had been adversely affected.
Brands include Kirkland Signature, Natural Factors, and Webber Naturals.
You can check the notice online to see if your vitamins are included in the recall.
Health Canada also said consumers should consult their doctor before stopping the medication.
Anyone with questions can contact the recall company, and reports of side effects or product safety complaints should be submitted to Health Canada.
