Aging is a natural part of life, but if you don’t mind fine lines and wrinkles, The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10% serum for facial wrinklesThis affordable serum has been dubbed “Botox in a bottle” by shoppers, and at just $13, it’s a pretty affordable alternative to injectable treatments.

of Brand website The company categorizes the serum as a “non-injectable solution to reduce the appearance of wrinkles” and has specifically been developed to target the signs of aging. This serum sounds incredible, so my mom, who is in her 60s, and I decided to give it a try to see if it lived up to the hype. Scroll down to read our honest review.

The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10% Serum for Facial Wrinkles Review: What is it and how does it work?

The Ordinary’s Argirine Solution Serum is formulated to target skin care concerns like fine lines and wrinkles, thanks to its Argirine Peptide Complex. SephoraThis complex is said to help improve the overall appearance of the area around the eyes and forehead, two prominent areas of the face most prone to developing lines and wrinkles on the skin.

This affordable serum also boasts a lightweight texture.

For best results, apply a few drops to the forehead and around the eyes twice daily. The Ordinary website As suggested, this product can be incorporated into your routine after washing your face and before applying an anhydrous serum, oil, suspension or cream. Well.ca Also, because The Ordinary’s Argireline solution contains peptides, it is recommended to avoid using products with Direct Acid, Direct/Ethylated Vitamin C, and Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% in the same skincare regimen.

First impression

My mother, who is in her 60s, is always on the lookout for new products that will help with fine lines and wrinkles, so she was excited to try The Ordinary’s Argireline Solution.

This is her skin right after washing her face and before applying serum.

She then applied a few drops of Argireline solution to her forehead and around her eyes, as recommended.

While my mom didn’t notice any dramatic physical changes, she did note that the product tightened her skin and that her skin felt firmer after use.

And then it was my turn.

As a 27-year-old, I’ve always been interested in elevating my skincare routine and have become increasingly interested in finding preventative products that can reduce the appearance of fine lines that appear with age.

As a result, I was keen to try The Ordinary’s Argireline solution to see if it actually works for both young and mature skin.

Like my mom, I also apply a few drops of a lightweight serum to my forehead and around my eyes after washing my face.

I too noticed a tightening sensation immediately after application, but I didn’t notice any immediate physical effects other than my skin appearing a little smoother. It’s important to note that this product is recommended to be used twice a day, so you’ll likely see better results with more consistent use.

What shoppers say

This affordable serum has a 4.1-star rating on Sephora, based on over 350 customer reviews.

“Love this product,” raved one shopper, who deemed the item a “must-have.” “This is my third bottle,” they added.

“I think I’ve found something sacred,” said one 72-year-old customer, who had “spent thousands of dollars on expensive items.” [grail with] “This product!” they said. “After a few weeks,” they saw “fine lines diminished,” “deeper lines diminished,” and even “neck lines.”

However, other shoppers claim they saw no “noticeable improvement” after using it, and that the product doesn’t reduce the appearance of wrinkles as advertised.

Is it worth it?

Some skin care solutions take several weeks to show results, so we decided to use this product consistently, day and night, as recommended, to see if it would produce noticeable results. When it comes to The Ordinary’s Argireline Solution, consistency seems to be the key, as evidenced by the fact that other Sephora shoppers have used and loved this product.

After using The Ordinary’s Argireline Solution religiously, day and night, for the past two weeks, here’s what I’ve noticed:

Although my mother didn’t notice a significant change in appearance, she did notice that her skin was smoother. Considering the price, I feel that The Ordinary’s Argireline Solution is definitely worth a try and I plan to continue using the product and monitor the condition of my skin over time.

After two weeks of consistent use, I also didn’t notice a significant change in the appearance of my skin. However, since I don’t have extreme fine lines or wrinkles, I might consider this a preventative skin care product in my daily beauty routine. That said, I was pleased to see my skin become smoother after use.

If you’re looking for an affordable way to improve the smoothness and firmness of your skin, I agree that this product is worth the hype for the price.

To be honest, it may be too early to claim this product is “Botox in a bottle,” but more consistent use may change our opinion, so if you want to try it for yourself, we encourage you to give it a fair try (no pun intended).
