According to facial aesthetic experts, delaying the early signs of aging can be achieved with two basic skin care techniques.
She revealed how she should adapt her beauty routine over the years to maintain a youthful appearance.
Dr. Raffaella Gabassi is a Harley Street esthetician and skin care expert with experience in treatments such as non-surgical facelifts and chemical peels.
In an interview with The US Sun, she shared some anti-ageing tips you can try at home.

Gabassi said skin types range from dry to oily and can benefit from a gentle cleanser, moisturizer and SPF.
Early signs of aging can begin as early as your 20s, but can be prevented by using retinol products.

“In your 30s, adding a serum and eye cream with antioxidants can help prevent fine lines,” she said.
“From your 40s onwards, incorporating hydrating serums, collagen-boosting products, and regular exfoliation can help maintain skin health and prevent aging.”
Gabassi said several other skin care ingredients are beneficial for a timeless look.
However, it must be used at specific times for best results.

“Factors such as sun exposure, pollution, diet, and genetics can affect skin health,” she said.
“Everyone can start making lifestyle changes, such as maintaining a healthy diet rich in antioxidants, staying hydrated, and exercising regularly.

“Practice stress-reducing activities, get enough sleep, avoid smoking and excessive alcohol consumption, and protect your skin from sun damage.
“These changes can reverse some of the signs of aging.”

These can be harsh on the skin and cause irritation and damage, she warned.
“Using too much product or over-exfoliating can disrupt the skin’s natural barrier, causing sensitivity and accelerating aging,” she said.
“It’s best to stick to proven, gentle skin care products and practices.”
