A 39-year-old woman has revealed the skincare routine that makes her look up to 10 years younger than her actual age.
Her beauty routine includes DIY treatments and food choices that give skin a healthy glow while also reducing puffiness and rejuvenating it.
Isabella Cavalli is an aesthetician and owner of SKINOLOGYST Aesthetics Clinic UK in Leeds, England.
In an interview with The US Sun, she shared her tips for staying youthful.
Magic Massage
Cavalli revealed that her “effective” skincare regimen involves a lot more than slathering on expensive over-the-counter remedies.
She said lymphatic drainage facial massage is essential to achieving her desired look.
“This gentle massage technique is very effective in reducing swelling and removing toxins from the skin,” she said.
“I had a partial thyroidectomy which resulted in ‘moon’ face syndrome.
“At this time, I began looking for ways to reduce facial swelling and tried manual lymphatic massage, gua sha (spoon) and ice on my face.”
She said that regular lymphatic drainage treatments have “brightened my complexion, reduced inflammation, and given me a healthy glow.”

She has begun incorporating massage into her treatments with her clients, many of whom see improvement after just one session.
“Regular lymphatic drainage massages have helped my skin look fresh and vibrant,” she says.
A cold welcome
Cavalli also recommends applying ice or cold compresses to the skin as a “simple way” to rejuvenate the skin.
“A cold ice massage constricts blood vessels, reducing swelling and inflammation,” she says.
“It also tightens pores, improves blood circulation, and leaves skin feeling firm and refreshed.”
“It’s a simple method, it just requires cold water to keep your skin fresh, and it doesn’t cost anything.”
“I’ve actually been doing this for years and keep two big spoons in the freezer and use it on my face morning and night.
“That’s a miracle trick.”
Beauty Booster
Cavalli said microneedling and microchanneling have improved her overall appearance.
Salon beauty treatments stimulate collagen production by creating “tiny holes” in the skin.
“Microneedling treatments have helped improve skin texture, reduce scars and fine lines, and improve overall complexion,” she said.
I highly recommend this treatment to anyone who takes their skin care seriously.

“Microneedling and microchanneling enhance the skin’s natural healing process, resulting in a more youthful appearance.”
She says that one microneedling session can stimulate more collagen production than your body naturally produces in a year.
“I would highly recommend this treatment to anyone who is serious about taking care of their skin,” she said.
“Depending on your goals, you can see changes to your skin after just one treatment.”
Fountain of Youth
Cavalli said “healthy lifestyle choices” were just as important as skin care in fighting the signs of ageing.
For her, hydration is “essential,” and she even adds electrolytes to her water.
“The product helps maintain the elasticity and plumpness of my skin, enhancing its hydration and overall appearance,” she said, calling this the “key” to keeping her skin “glowing.”
She has also cut down on her sugar intake, which has helped her maintain her “youthful figure.”
“Excessive sugar intake leads to glycation, inflammation, insulin spikes and dehydration, all of which contribute to premature ageing, dull skin and breakouts,” she warned.
She said that after focusing on treatment and diet, managing stress is “super important” to maintaining healthy skin.
“Stress increases cortisol levels, which can break down collagen and lead to wrinkles and sagging skin,” she says.
“I incorporate mindfulness practices like meditation, yoga and deep breathing into my daily routine to reduce stress, and I’ve noticed a noticeable difference in my skin’s resilience and health.”
