A 35-year-old man has revealed the anti-ageing habits that make him look 20 years younger and lead strangers to mistake him for a “teenager.”
Brandon Miles May, a medical writer based in Detroit, Michigan, claims the secret to maintaining a youthful appearance is to avoid sun exposure and alcohol.
He also attributes his wrinkle-free skin to “not doing strenuous exercise” and embracing “the feeling of youth.”
Brandon also attributes his appearance to his diet, explaining that he makes healthy choices. Fresh fruit, plant-based foods, fish — all of these things help me feel as young as I did 10 years ago.
The 35-year-old believes that as well as physical effort, mental attitude also plays a key role in staying youthful.
He explained, “I think not drinking alcohol contributes to my youthful appearance. It really makes me feel young. I think it helps. I think I’m young and I see it that way.”
Not only has Brandon never had a sip of alcohol, but he also claims to have kept his skin out of the sun his whole life.
“I’ve avoided the sun my whole life,” he says, “I wear hoodies and use physical coverings on the backs of my hands to block the sun.”
Brandon has been taking care of his skin since he was 13 years old and strives to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
He has been a fan of health and biohacking methods for many years, and uses a variety of preventative methods to maintain his wrinkle-free appearance.
“When I go through airport security, they ask me my age. They do a double take,” said Brandon, who is also a social media content creator.
“People vary in what age they think I am, but I’m 15, 16, maybe 18 or 19.”
“I’ve never had any kind of treatment before. What I do is very simple, but effective.”
Brandon, who also runs a medical communications business, has always had a penchant for healthy food.
At age 15, he began changing his diet, including drinking more green tea and eating more plant-based foods.
At age 19, she gave up sugar, grains and carbohydrates, and now eats more organic foods and low-mercury fish.
He said: “Since I was 13, I started to become conscious about longevity and anti-aging.”

“At that time, I was really into nutrition and keeping my body young.”
Brandon also believes that exercise is important, but he doesn’t do anything too “intense” so as not to strain his body.
He said: “I don’t do strenuous exercise. Excessive exercise can put a strain on the body and age it.”
“I try to stick to moderate, gentle exercise, like walking, yoga, and strength training.”
Brandon says he’s “investing” time in himself, but insists his lifestyle isn’t about living forever, but about staying healthy for as long as possible.
He added: “I want to feel good. Feeling young is part of looking young. Living forever is not my priority. Staying healthy is.”
“I think I look better than I did 10 years ago. I feel younger both physically and mentally. I believe the body follows the mind.”
Brandon says that while strangers might find his lifestyle “exhausting,” he finds it easy to implement – and that he still enjoys treats like chocolate.
He added: “I eat chocolate every day. I eat the kind with 92 to 100 percent cocoa. It’s very bitter.”
“I’m also pretty flexible. When I eat out I have bread and olive oil.”
