A longevity expert reveals the secrets to combating common signs of ageing.
The 59-year-old said the chip has helped her prevent grey hair.
Lesley Kenny is a wellbeing expert who divides her time between California and Oxford.
She is the founder of the brand Oxford Healthspan and runs a non-profit organization focused on longevity.
She spoke to the US Sun about her advice for maintaining an ageless appearance.
Super Supplement
Kenny said there is no “one size fits all” approach to health, but people should start by looking at the underlying causes of premature ageing.

“Gray hair is often a great visible indicator of what’s going on inside the body, and the causes may vary from person to person,” she said.
“Despite a common misconception, grey hair is not natural.”
She said nutritional deficiencies, including vitamin D, B12, iron and spermidine, were also to blame.
Or thyroid issues such as hypothyroidism or glutathione depletion due to stress.

“We need to do detailed blood tests to determine the cause before we can fix the problem,” she said.
“I’m 59 and I have no grey hairs because I’ve balanced my nutrition and controlled my thyroid issues.”
Nutritious diet
Kenny said inflammation is another big cause of aging, but it can be prevented through nutrition.
“Eating an anti-inflammatory diet rich in antioxidants and healthy fats can help reverse the signs and symptoms of aging, especially in the case of autoimmune diseases,” she said.
“I followed Dr. Barry Sears’ Anti-Inflammatory Zone Diet.”
She said this, combined with other things, helped her put her autoimmune disease into remission.
Can be used for a lifetime
Kenny also believes the disorder is due to a breakdown in the process of cell renewal known as autophagy.
“Intermittent fasting can help cells regenerate, but not everyone can tolerate it,” she says.
“High-intensity exercise, a keto diet, eating spermidine-rich foods such as shiitake mushrooms and peas, or taking a food-based spermidine supplement.”
Despite its benefits, Kenny said the keto diet shouldn’t be followed long-term.
Anti-Aging Tips and “Superstar” Products
Dr Anatalia Moore is a general practitioner and dermatologist with over 11 years of clinical experience.
She told the US Sun that her goal is to give patients the knowledge they need to take control of their skin conditions.
She said the basic fundamentals of a beauty routine remain the same at any age, including using an effective cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen.
“Moisturizers are my favorite over products that contain active ingredients,” she says.
“Finding a balancing moisturizer that provides proper hydration and replenishes and locks in natural oils will literally stabilize your skin.
“This in itself can provide immediate relief from fine lines and skin texture, which are often exacerbated by dehydration.”
“It also allows the skin to function as it should.
“This can result in faster healing, fewer wrinkles and fine lines, fewer dermatitis and rosacea flare-ups, and shorter-lasting, less severe breakouts.”

- Adequate sleep
- Balanced diet
- Reduce stress
She said optimal anti-aging requires adopting “basic” healthy lifestyle habits.
“The foundations are healthy eating, daily exercise, social interaction, a sense of purpose and stress management,” she said.
“If these are not implemented, other measures will be less effective.”
Kenny previously told the US Sun that she keeps her skin looking youthful with collagen supplements and homemade face masks.
She said face taping is a “great” alternative to Botox and that she uses Nu Skin’s ageLOC Boost system to exercise the muscles daily.
