Lucknow Ayush district has announced plans to set up naturopathy centers and the first center will be set up in Varanasi.
“Those seeking treatment will now have access to comprehensive naturopathic services under one roof. As a government initiative, these treatments will be affordable and available to everyone.” said Dayashankar Mishra, Ayush Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
Naturopathy takes a holistic approach to well-being and helps individuals achieve a healthier lifestyle. A wide range of therapies, including mud baths, aromatherapy and chromotherapy, are tailored to each individual’s specific illness and mental health.
Replying to a question on the choice of Varanasi as the location for the first centre, the Minister explained: There are plans to establish centers in other districts as well. ”
The initiative is part of a broader effort to provide the state’s residents with options within the traditional health care system.
“We are strengthening the capacity of our pharmacies in Lucknow and Pilibhit to ensure that the majority of medicines provided to patients are produced under strict quality standards. People trust Ayush As a result, the number of outpatients at our hospitals has steadily increased,” Minister Ayush said.
He further said, “800 hospitals will function as wellness centers in the state and each district will have a 50-bed integrated hospital.” The Ayush department also has 50 beds spread across different districts with an aim to provide comprehensive treatment options covering Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani all under one roof for the convenience of patients. A plan was developed to establish an integrated hospital.
