STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) — Two businesses have teamed up to bring health and wellness to the State College area and will soon be open for business.
Vitality Wellness Club and K2 Roots are opening locations in downtown State College. K2 Roots, with a menu of fresh juices, smoothies and protein bowls, has been operating in the State College area for three years. Vitality Wellness Club offers not only exercise but also the recovery you need, including a hyperbaric chamber, Kaqun water therapy, infrared sauna, ice tub therapy and compression therapy.
“We’ve partnered to bring everything under one roof to bring health and wellness to the community, from the inside out,” said Leanne Miyasaki, general manager of Vitality Wellness Clubs.
The goal of the new location is to offer a variety of services so that more people don’t have to travel.
“What’s unique about our store is that we offer a service where you can come in and train, add an assistant or recovery, come here and ride up to K2 and then when you leave you can get a protein bar or a recovery juice or a smoothie,” Miyazaki said.
Vitality has a wide range of services and price points, for more information please see this link. For more information on K2 Roots please see this link.
Owners said it’s been a long, two-year process, but one that’s been worthwhile. They say many who knew the business before will not recognize the new facility because of the fresh start.
