Hyderabad: The Global Spirituality Summit was held from March 14th to 17th at Kanha Shanti Vanam in collaboration with Heartfulness and the Ministry of Culture. The summit, held under the theme “From Inner Peace to World Peace,” aimed to stage an interfaith dialogue and help people connect with spirituality in their daily lives.
President Draupadi Murmu inaugurated the summit on March 14 and said, “The Global Spirituality Summit will lead humanity towards spirituality.” Spiritual icons like Mahavir, Ravidas and Gurunanak has given India a unique identity as the spiritual hub of the world.”
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, who attended the summit on March 16th and 17th, said, “The theme of moving from inner peace to world peace is a reflection of geopolitical issues such as unjust development, intolerance, and violence based on religion and faith.” “It is contemporary with today’s environment of heightened tensions.” Bharat is the world’s spiritual center. ”
Major spiritual organizations such as Ramakrishna Mission, Parmars Niketan, Art of Living Foundation, Mata Amritanandamamas, Cardinal Anthony Phura, Brahma Kumaris, Maharishi Foundation, Isha Foundation, International Buddhist Confederation (IBC), etc. participated in the summit.
