I’m Dr. Melina Roberts. I am a naturopathic doctor and author of the following books:
raise healthy children
He is also the founder of the Center for Advanced Naturopathic Medicine in Calgary.
I graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Cooperative Honors, where I was also a member of the national women’s rugby team, and then attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.
I was drawn to Kinesiology because I have a strong interest in how the body works, and my university education helped foster that interest. My time at the University of Waterloo gave me a solid scientific grounding. It helped me become a better researcher of information and a critical thinker. I strongly believe that education is critical to progress and innovation in this world. But we also need to deeply respect and admire those who study science and lay the foundations of understanding for us. Because it helps us move forward.
This is what I do in my practice and why I think I’ve been able to be so successful in my work. I integrate modern science and introduce innovative techniques in testing and treatment to better understand the functional aspects of health and its underlying concepts, which have existed for thousands of years and are time-honored. Combined with tried and tested traditional medicine. Succeeded. You can take what has been done before and build on it.
I wrote a book titled
raise healthy children. Teach parents how to consume food in a way that reduces digestive problems, prevents common childhood diseases such as allergies, eczema, and asthma, and builds a solid foundation for long-term health.
I believe that if we can improve the health of children, we can also improve the health of future generations. Watch the video below.
