With May being Mental Health Awareness Month, the agency wants to be part of the mission to break down barriers to bring hope and understanding to those suffering.
Among the barriers: Americans are increasingly isolated (particularly since the pandemic), which is linked to systemic social anxiety, alienation, grief, financial stress, low self-esteem, toxic family situations, and more. These problems are exacerbated.
Family Resources helps individuals find the right program and access resources in the community that support mental health wellness, including medical care, treatment, counseling, financial assistance, legal assistance, and educational advocacy .
