OGDEN, Utah (GOOD THINGS UTAH) — Regulating your energy is important at any age, but especially important for teens. Amy Winsett is a medium and has a special talent for feeling, sensing, and intuitively seeing the difficulties people are experiencing. In addition to raising her six teenage children, she also worked in the school system and saw firsthand the challenges young people face. She, along with Jill Seraphina, shared how we can become aware of the energies that influence our teens.
Young people are exposed to the challenge of sharing an overwhelming amount of energy from their peers as they attend school and other social activities. This increases anxiety and depression, especially for people who are empaths. Learning how to recognize what’s affecting you can help you feel empowered.
Distinguishing your energy from the energy of others can be done through meditation and visualization. Winset and Seraphina guided the hosts. 4 step visualization:
1. find your energy center
2. Recognize what is you and what is not you
3. Picture yourself going through the regular activities of your day. No matter what challenges arise, make sure you remain balanced and centered.
Four. Reinforce this intention by breathing in positive energy and letting go of what no longer serves you. Repeat as many times as necessary.
The Youth Energy Awareness Lunch will be held on Saturday, September 23rd from 12:30pm to 3pm at Jeremiah’s Restaurant in Ogden, Utah. Parents and youth are invited! For more information, please visit www.AmyWinsett.com. @AwakeningwithAmyWinsett
