He continued, “The good news is we got to the point where we’d accomplished everything we wanted to do, so we wanted this book to be open to everyone, and I think we’ve really achieved that. So right now, given the lineup and where we are and what we’ve done, I feel really, really spiritual about the next album.”
“So I feel like this is going to be it. It’s not like nobody liked what we did or didn’t like it, but I just feel like this is very necessary for everybody. And I think it will be widely accepted. So I’m very excited about it, especially with Eloy.” [Casagrande] Being with the band and other people allows us to achieve so much and it’s really exciting.”
Six weeks after Slipknot’s surprise announcement last month that they’d written their first song with new drummer Eloy Casagrande, “Long May You Die,” Crahan hinted that the legendary metal band would be releasing new music “really soon.”

“And I said that our communication has gotten so much better. Now apply that to communicating music. I can assure you that music will be available to you sooner than you can imagine, and in ways you can’t even imagine.”
Crahan also said: NME Late last year, he spoke about Slipknot’s lost album, “Look Outside Your Window,” and when it might be released.
The album was set to be released during Slipknot’s We Are Not Your Kind tour, but the pandemic caused it to be postponed to 2021. Since then, frontman Corey Taylor has hinted that the album would be released later this year.
“The art is done. It’s mixed. It’s mastered. It’s definitely coming out in 2024. It’s a great album. Corey is my favorite singer ever and I’ll never hear him sing the same way again so it was worth the wait. It’s a very unique and timeless project,” Crahan said.
