If ever there was motivation to get working out, this might just be it: Hedi Slimane has launched his Pilates collection for Celine, showcasing essential exercise accessories in the French designer’s ultra-luxurious style.
There are reformer machines covered in sheepskin and Triomphe canvas, cork yoga mats and blocks, and a range of weights, from impossibly chic lambskin kettlebells to dumbbells and weight bracelets, each one as satisfying as it is functional. object As such, it is made with the same know-how as the brand’s clothing and accessories.
Simultaneously, a range of activewear was released, from seamless technical jersey sports bras and cycling shorts to viscose crop tops and leggings, while athletic headbands were adorned with a metal Triomphe motif and a barrel-shaped holdall in Triomphe canvas and calfskin was a sophisticated alternative to the average nylon gym bag (though you might need a little persuasion to put your sweaty workout clothes back in it).

This follows a dog collection for Celine inspired by Slimane’s own dog Elvis, which consisted of collars, leashes, treat bags, etc. Other creations Slimane has created during his tenure include hammocks, lighter cases, board games, boules and beach bats, all of which help expand Slimane’s luxurious world at the house.
To launch his Pilates collection, Hedi Slimane photographed the brand’s muse, Kaia Gerber, in Malibu in December 2023. In the sun-soaked image, Gerber is seen ready for a workout, holding a yoga mat, cap, and headphones (the last of which are a collaboration between Céline and Master & Dynamic), with the Pacific Ocean sparkling beyond.
The Celine Pilates collection will be available on the Celine website and in select stores this October.
