If you’re looking for a quick way to get around this week, look no further. This Pilates routine requires no equipment and will improve flexibility and strength in just 15 minutes.
The session is by certified Pilates and yoga instructor Nicole McPherson (who goes by Move With Nicole on social media) and is being described as a “rush” workout. Despite this, McPherson is still in control of his flow, approaching his movements with focus and control and getting the most out of them.

This routine is fully guided by McPherson, so whether you’re an experienced Pilates fan or a Pilates beginner, you can follow her demonstration. She said if you need more time to get a feel for the movements, you can take a little longer with each movement, so feel free to press pause when you need to.
Benefits of Pilates
Pilates improves strength and flexibility at the same time. This is a low-impact exercise designed to reduce stress on your joints. If high-impact workouts like running or HIIT are putting stress on your joints, or if you have an injury, a routine like this can give you a gentler workout. No equipment is required, but it’s best to do this on a yoga mat to reduce the impact from the hard floor.
Pilates is also great for strengthening your core, the group of muscles in your core that are involved in most daily movements. It connects the upper and lower body and helps transfer force between the two areas. The muscles in this area also play an important role in balance, posture, and spinal stability, so strengthening them can have all sorts of positive effects.
