The Food Network star said that spending 30 years in the kitchen has given him poor posture.
Bobby Flay has been a professional chef for 30 years, which has taken a toll on his body.
In an interview in July The Wall Street JournalThe Food Network star opened up about her favorite workout routine and how it helped her improve her posture after years of being hunched over in the kitchen.
“There are basically three parts: 30 to 45 minutes of cardio, kind of like running outside. [New York City’s] “If the weather’s really bad, I’ll work out on the West Side Highway or on the treadmill at the gym,” he said.
He also revealed why he’s “crazy about Pilates.”
“I had a really bad curve in my spine from standing hunched over a cutting board for 35 years,” says Frey, 59. “Pilates has reversed that and really improved my posture. It helps with stretching, too.”
He completes his training with bodyweight exercises such as sit-ups and push-ups.

Despite the physical side effects of being a professional chef for most of his life, Flay is far from done. In fact, he said: The Wall Street Journal Fellow celebrity chefs competing with him are still on the list.
“Gordon Ramsay. People have been talking about this for 15 years. It’s going to happen one day,” he said.
Star BBQ Brawl and Bobby’s Triple Threat He spoke to PEOPLE at the 2024 American Century Championship golf tournament, where he put his fitness to the test on the green.
“I love playing golf and I love Lake Tahoe. It’s been a great week out here. With everything going on in my life, it’s always fun to get away for four or five hours to a beautiful place like this,” he told People magazine.

Frey also announced that he will attend the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris with his daughter Sophie.
