Anti-ageing enthusiast and billionaire tech mogul Brian Johnson claimed to have achieved a major milestone in his anti-ageing quest in a post on social media site “X.”
Johnson, who has spent millions trying to stave off aging, claimed to X that his birthdays now came every 19 months instead of the usual 12.
He shared data on how his biological aging is slowing: “My new record is 0.64 aging rate. My birthday comes every 19 months. I made Braintree Venmo, now I’m making humans. The goal is to slow and reverse aging. Nutrition is the key to anti-aging. This is what I eat every day. You can too,” Johnson said in a video message posted to X.
The wealthy tech entrepreneur says he’s slashed his biological age by 5.1 years through a strict diet, exercise and fitness regimen, and he spends more than $2 million a year on his anti-aging routine.
“I have been working hard to slow down my ageing and just recently achieved a personal best of 0.64, which means I only age 7.6 months roughly every 12 months,” he further added.
Brian Johnson, who founded Braintree Venmo and later sold it to launch Project Blueprint, a deep dive into the field of longevity research, said his health indicators point to a young biological age.
The project employs several measures to reverse Johnson’s epigenetic age. Epigenetic age refers to an individual’s biological age, which is determined by patterns of DNA methylation in cells. Unlike chronological age, which is the amount of time a person has actually lived, epigenetic age is a measure of how old a person’s body appears biologically.
Johnson’s daily routine involves a carefully controlled calorie-restricted diet and taking more than 100 supplements each day.
