Nearly every second person in India uses the Ayush healthcare system, with a government survey finding that 46% of rural and 53% of urban Indians use this traditional medicine system. The Ayush healthcare system includes Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy. The first-of-its-kind all-India exclusive ‘Ayush’ survey was conducted by the National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) between July 2022 and June 2023 as part of the 79th National Sample Survey (NSS), according to an official statement. The Minnesota Legislature’s auditor general found that the Minnesota Department of Education grossly neglected its duty to properly oversee millions of dollars in federal funds it provided to nonprofit organizations to provide meals to children during the COVID-19 pandemic. File – William R. Sharpe Hospital, Weston WESTON, W.Va. (WBOY) — A pilot program for detoxification therapy using acupuncture will be implemented at William R. Sharpe Jr. Hospital in Weston. The West Virginia Department of Health Facilities (DHF) announced the new program in a press release Thursday, saying acupuncture can help relieve anxiety, stress, paranoia and aggression in drug addicts. In acupuncture, a practitioner inserts thin needles into a patient’s skin and manipulates them by hand or with an electrical current.
