The Cabinet Committee on Personnel has approved the extension of the term of AYUSH Ministry Secretary Kotecha for one year from June 28, 2024, i.e. up to June 28, 2025, on contractual basis, the personnel ministry said in an order issued on June 18. Kotecha was appointed as the Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani Therapy, Siddha Therapy and Homeopathy) in 2017.
