The past two years have been particularly challenging for physicians, so AANP 2022’s theme, “Restore, Revitalize, Reconnect,” is an engaging and inspiring way for the naturopathic physician community to come together (whether virtually or in-person). We focused on making medical care an enjoyable and informative experience. meeting.
The three-day conference featured nearly 40 sessions with more than 44 notable speakers, including four unique hands-on clinical sessions and two keynotes. Topics ranged from how naturopathic doctors recover from burnout to how they help patients suffering from mental health issues, addiction, and more.
The annual event also offered an additional half-day of learning after the convention. Sunday, July 24th, will host a COVID clinical roundtable. Proceeds from the additional roundtable discussion were donated to the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians, host of AANP 2022.
Education was not the only focus of AANP 2022. The event featured three social events: a welcome reception on Thursday night, a presidential reception on Friday night featuring an entertaining game of Naturopathic Family Feud, and an annual gala and awards reception on Saturday.
Saturday’s gala included dinner and culminated with dancing and music by a local DJ. AANP recognized several members of the naturopathic medicine community as outstanding naturopathic physicians and supporters of the specialty at its annual awards ceremony. Winners were nominated by their peers and voted on by a committee. The awards with each winner are as follows:

The AANP Annual Conference is a platform for sharing knowledge, deepening the core philosophy and methods of naturopathic medicine, and building collaborative relationships with integrative health practitioners.
