Albuquerque Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine is a local clinic specializing in the treatment of complex chronic conditions such as neurological disorders and autoimmune diseases. Dr. Andrea Brogdon leads the clinic, which specializes in combining Chinese and Western medicine techniques to help patients heal. She says her goal is to bring hope to cases that seemed hopeless and help patients regain their lives.
New Mexico Living recently spoke with Brogdon at his clinic about how he manages and treats patients with certain complex chronic conditions.
“I mean, I have a lot of autoimmune diseases and irritable bowel syndrome, but I also have a lot of influx of unexplained diseases. You know, what we’re really seeing is that the body is The facial nerve is starting to become inflamed, and you’re starting to experience mucus in your throat and difficulty breathing. The facial nerve thing is a little bit more inexplicable, and in many cases, patients are not aware of what’s going on in their body. I went to many other experts to find out what was going on, but I couldn’t get an answer,” Dr. Brogdon says.
One of the key things that sets Dr. Brogdon apart about how he cares for his patients is that rather than using drugs, he uses certain technologies that help the body heal itself.
“In my office, we don’t just use proven acupuncture. But I also use a treatment called ATP Resonance Biotherapy. Now, what is that? Spaceflight It was developed by NASA to help humans heal better in space. And it will help, it’s like recharging a battery, the resources needed to start the healing process. ” says Dr. Brogdon.
New Mexico Living spoke with one of Dr. Brogdon’s patients, Becky, to learn how her complex chronic disease only began to improve after visiting five specialists and finding Dr. Brogdon.
“I have multiple health issues and basically the last time I saw a specialist, I was told that my body was against me and there wasn’t much that could be done,” Becky says.
In Becky’s case, her whole body stopped working properly.
“I had lost control of my parasympathetic nervous system, so when I was stressed, my heart would go crazy. My heart rate would jump into the 200s. My blood pressure was in the triple digits. And then there was the coronavirus. Since the infection, I’ve developed something in my throat. I want to say it was mucus, but when it came I found out it was fungus. And by the time I got to Dr. Brogdon, I was here. [head]” says Becky.
And it was really nice when Becky found Dr. Brogdon. After her first few treatments, she was already noticing changes.
“She has a quiet confidence. The first time I came in for an interview with her, I told her what was going on and that she had seen five doctors before consulting. “Now, a month later, I’m showing signs of improvement on both my left and right sides,” says Becky. She helped me regain my health. ”
Becky no longer just exists, she’s alive again.
“I feel like I’m back. I may not be 100% yet, but I feel like there’s light at the end of the tunnel. I don’t think there’s any hesitation. It was the best thing he ever did for me in my life,” says Becky.
