Amanda Plunkett, California Regional Director for the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapists, said the Redlands Horticulture Improvement Association will meet on Thursday, March 21st at 7 p.m. at the Redlands Church of the Nazarene, 1307 E. Citrus Ave. At that time, I am planning to give a lecture on “Basics of Aromatherapy.”
Plunkett’s presentation will include an overview of the science behind aromatherapy, safety guidelines and aromatic substances from the garden, according to a news release.
Plunkett, a certified clinical aromatherapist, is also a beekeeper and focuses on growing exotic and native medicinal plants.
The program is free and available to the public.
