Carmel City Center will add a sportswear shop, a therapeutic spa and a sushi restaurant.
Baseline Social, a high-end tennis, pickleball, golf and social sportswear boutique, recently opened in a permanent space at 727 Hanover Place, suite 149. It previously operated as a pop-up shop at Oliver’s Twist, another Carmel City Center retailer.
The boutique will sell apparel, accessories, home and gift items from Addison Bay, Lacoste, A. Putnam, Vieux Ge, Kru, Claire V, Phoenix Sportier and Cynthia Rowley Sports. Menswear apparel brands include Lacoste and Rhone. Accessories include pickleball paddles and bags, racquet bags, visors, hats, pouches and towels.
Baseline Social is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Aromaroom is a therapeutic aromatherapy steam and halotherapy spa scheduled to open in January 2024 at 762 S. Range Line Rd., Suite 64. Clients can work with an aromatherapist to determine which oil or combination of oils from a wide selection of essential oils will best suit their needs. Private steam and salt rooms will also be offered.
The Aroma Room is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 6pm.
Hanami Sushi is expected to open at 703 Veterans Way, Suite 130 in early 2024. The menu will feature pork and chicken bowls, specialty sushi rolls, ramen and Japanese desserts, as well as beer, wine, sake cocktails and spritz cocktails.
Hanami Sushi is open for lunch and dinner from 11am to 9pm Sunday through Thursday and 11am to 10pm on Friday and Saturday.
