Albania’s rich soil, sunny Mediterranean climate and warm climate provide ideal conditions for growing herbs and plants used in the beauty industry, such as lavender, almonds and hazelnuts. This is why I love Aromatherapy Her Albania. Albania uses only the best local ingredients to offer visitors completely natural, chemical-free, and most importantly handmade beauty products. The shop is very nicely decorated, small but cozy. The team makes their creams, body lotions, and essential oils on-site, so they’re not the traditional factory-made products you’d normally buy.
I love this store because, aside from the natural formula, they have a wide selection of creams and serums (for men and women) to suit every occasion. One thing we are very proud of at Aromatherapy is that we use the plant Eternel, also known as the rejuvenating plant, which has beautiful anti-aging effects. In other words, organic and eco-friendly entrepreneurial initiatives exist in Tirana as well, and for me it was a lot of fun to see what they have to offer. My favorites are the day cream and hazelnut oil, which softens and scents the skin. It literally smelled like hazelnuts and that’s because of the cold press technique used by the staff. This method allows you to preserve the best parts of your plants and enjoy the full benefits of each.
