CREOKS Health Services, a nonprofit that provides comprehensive health, wellness and social service services, will hold a groundbreaking ceremony next week at its new location in Broken Arrow.
CREOKS has announced it is building a new “state-of-the-art” mental health facility that will house a crisis stabilization clinic for both children and adults at 2500 E. Hillside Dr. The $4.5 million project will be built at 2500 E. Hillside Drive and is expected to employ 130 professionals.
“This number is expected to increase as facilities expand their services and reach more people in need,” CREOKS said.
The clinic will offer a variety of programs to address a range of mental health challenges, a family medicine practice and a full-service pharmacy to ensure accessible and effective treatment options for residents of Broken Arrow and the surrounding areas.
“We are grateful that CREOKS Health Services chose Broken Arrow to build such an important facility for our community and the people of the surrounding areas,” said Amber Miller, vice president of economic development for the Broken Arrow Economic Development Corp. “An investment of this magnitude will not only help increase Broken Arrow’s health care workforce, but it will also provide quality services and resources that will promote the overall health of our residents.”
Construction on the new facility is expected to begin this summer and be completed within 10 to 12 months.
