With May being Mental Health Awareness Month, the La Crosse Area Family YMCA has announced a series of initiatives to promote mental health awareness.
Anna Stint, Y’s Mental Health Director Mental health is always important and this month is the time to educate and support our community.
“We all have mental health. It’s just how we think, feel and behave,” Schint said. “As we all know about physical health, we need to nourish our bodies and take care of them. The good news is that much of what we can do for our physical health also helps our mental health. It’s also helpful.”

Mental health awareness and crosswords are available at the front desk.
