Patanjali Ayurveda College and Hospital, Patanjali Research and Patanjali University jointly organized a one-day national workshop on ‘Santathi Srijinam Garv Sanskar’.
During the workshop, Mr. Yoguru Baba Ramdev, Mr. Acharya Balakrishna and guest Professor Dr. Kalpana Sharma were awarded the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for their outstanding contribution in the field of Ayurveda.
Speaking at the workshop, Ramdev said that India, the ideal land of glorious motherhood, thrives on the wealth of mothers like Jijabai, Putlibai, Madarsa and Sita who nurture cultural offspring.
“Today, India needs such a bloodline. Mothers produce cultured citizens by their untiring efforts, even in the face of adversity.”
Acharya Balkrishna, who spoke at the workshop, emphasized the glory of motherhood, quoting the description of the 16 sacraments in the Vedas and scriptures, and said that the three sacraments of Galbadan, Pumsavan and Seemanthnayan are associated with birth. He said it was done in advance.
Their fusion is carried out by parents with feelings of protection for the future child’s womb. A mother can give birth to a healthy child only if she herself is healthy, he said.
Balakrishna added that it is essential for expectant mothers to focus on balanced diet, yoga, meditation and contemplation to protect their future child from malnutrition.
As the keynote speaker, Dr. Kalpana Sharma (Professor) said that the main purpose of Ayurveda is to maintain health, prevent and treat diseases.
“Ayurveda is a panacea that brings spiritual perspective and supernatural powers to life. Men and women contribute to the creation of civilization based on the facts of Seed-Male and Seed-Female. From a Scientific Perspective Ayurvedic principles are based on immense potential. A holistic view of ancient knowledge and modern science improves your overall life,” she said.
