This is both great news and a bit surprising. Wisconsin was just named one of the best states to live in for mental health. Fortune on Monday (April 8) shared a list of the 10 states with the best and worst mental health.
Not that Wisconsin doesn’t deserve to be on this list, but I definitely didn’t think it would be in the top 10. That happened again this time!
Where was Wisconsin located?
Wisconsin made it into the top 10, coming in at No. 7.

What makes Wisconsin a great state for mental health?
Although the study did not look at every state in detail, factors it looked at included how often people take sick days due to mental health or mental illness, and how many people experience depressive episodes. Contains numbers, etc.

They also ask how many people have untreated mental illnesses, how many psychologists there are, how many mental health facilities there are, and how many people can’t afford a doctor. We also investigated.
What about Minnesota?
Minnesota is more of a “best state” than the worst state in this study, but it didn’t make a big difference here.
