Recipes containing jelly and tuna should be classified as a crime.
An antiques seller shared the funniest video on social media. It all has to do with his grandmother’s recipe book.
He calls her recipe “vintage” and openly reveals that it is terrible. I’m not sure if he’s laughing at her recipes and intentionally combining ingredients she doesn’t know well together.

Be careful, these ingredients are generally not compatible, so if you want to try it at home, try it yourself.
Also, in case you’re wondering, this recipe was called “Tuna Fish Jelly Lamb Salad.”
What I was happy to see were the comments on that post. People tried to give their input and add the stories behind the recipes.
Check out some of the comments.
- “Your grandma has been waiting 84 years for this joke to come full circle.”
- “Jenny and your grandma were passive-aggressive sworn enemies. Jenny fed Nana the worst recipes she could think of and laughed every night imagining Nana’s first bite. That’s the only explanation. .”
- “My mother used to use a salmon mold for this and sliced olives for the eyes. When I was a kid, my mother used to take me everywhere, but we never had one at home. I thought, “This must be something really special.” And I made it, “It won’t taste good for a gathering of adults, and the cats won’t eat it, what was I thinking!” ? ”
- “Maybe this salad worked because back then everyone was chain-smoking and couldn’t really taste what they were eating?”
- “I think Jenny was confused. This might have been her grocery list.”
Just for fun, check out his grandmother’s recipe below, courtesy of Instagram.
