Several vitamins, including those sold at Costco and Walmart, have been recalled due to possible metallic fiber content.
Health Canada released three recall statements Friday highlighting which products were affected.
Brands include Kirkland Signature, which is sold at Costco, and Weber Naturals, which is carried in several retailers nationwide, including Walmart and Shoppers Drug Mart.
The recalled vitamins are as follows:
- Kirkland Signature – B100 Complex Timed Release
- Life – Vitamin B Complex with Vitamin C
- Option+ & Life – Prenatal Multivitamin with Folic Acid 100 Tablets
- Option+ & Life – Spectrum Prenatal and Postnatal
- Option+ & Life – Multivitamin & Minerals for Women
- Option+ & Life – Spectrum Women’s 22 Vitamins & Minerals Plus Lutein
- Option+ & Life – Lycopene
- Webber Naturals – B50 Complex Timed Release
- Webber Naturals – Most Complete Multi for Women 50+ Once Daily
- Webber Naturals – The Most Complete Multi-Men’s 50+ One Bottle Per Day
- Webber Naturals – Vitamin B50 Complex
- London Drugs, Options+, Wellness by Life – Multi Women/Ladies 50+

Health Canada says if you find out that a product you’ve purchased is subject to a recall, you should first talk to your healthcare provider about any health concerns before stopping use.
Concerned customers can contact the recall company. Complaints about side effects or the safety of health products should be reported to Health Canada.
