Venus Williams’ second book is about her own health and wellness journey.
On September 10th, Tennis Champion announced an innovative yet easy-to-follow life improvement program based on Williams’ eight fundamental principles: Observation, Gratitude, Balance, Abundance, Calm, Believe, Inspiration, and Effort. STRIVE” is released.
“As an athlete, I know it takes perseverance and consistency to reach goals and see real results. My goal with STRIVE is to improve my own health and nutrition. It’s about sharing tips and tricks that have helped me along my journey,” Williams said in a statement. “These were the tools that kept me from burning out in the lifestyle I wanted and believed in—a lifestyle that helped me feel confident, powerful, and capable.”

In each chapter, readers learn how to apply Williams’ principles to four different aspects of life: food, activity, environment, and self.
Williams’ personal stories will also be featured in the book, which the publisher says will be an “extension” of her message of “self-empowerment, resilience, and the pursuit of your best self.”
Amistad, an imprint of HarperCollins, publishes “STRIVE,” which will also be available as an ebook and audiobook.
