The Vitamin Shoppe now offers customers the option to have vitamins, supplements, and sports nutrition products delivered right to their door, courtesy of Uber Eats.
The San Francisco-based on-demand delivery platform announced a partnership with the Secaucus-based nutrition retailer’s 700 locations nationwide in an April 4 press release.
Beryl Sanders, director of U.S. grocery and retail partnerships at Uber, said of the launch: “Nutritional needs are personal and often urgent. This is why consumers can find everything they need on the app, from vitamins and supplements to sports nutrition and healthy snacks and drinks on the go. That’s one of the reasons we’re most excited to bring The Vitamin Shoppe to Uber Eats, where you can find it in just a few taps — and have it delivered to your doorstep within hours, if not minutes. I’ll have it delivered.”
Rethinking retail

With this partnership, The Vitamin Shoppe becomes the first national nutritional supplement retailer on the Uber Eats app. It joins a lineup of retailers including Party City, Staples, and Big Lots.
Muriel Gonzalez, president of the retailer, said: “On-demand same-day delivery from stores with Uber Eats gives customers a quick and easy way to access their favorite health and wellness products. We also offer Uber Eats customers a Healthy Awards ID with every order. We are also excited to add , and earn cash back rewards from The Vitamin Shoppe, an industry-leading loyalty program.”

In addition to cash back benefits from The Vitamin Shoppe, Uber One members benefit from $0 shipping and up to 10% off all eligible orders with a $15 minimum purchase. According to the press release, the app will also offer customers who use the code VITAMIN50 until May 31st a 50% discount on orders of 60%.
