Aging is a beautiful process.
Society tends to pressure women to spend hundreds of dollars on nips, tucks, and miracle creams in search of the fountain of youth, but incorporating simple habits into your daily life can help you age gracefully. It can be the hidden key.
These pillars of a healthy lifestyle, such as exercise, regular sleep, and a consistent skin care routine, help us approach every stage of life with peace of mind. And when you see women like Emmy Award-winning producer Tracy Edmonds shine and grow through different stages of life, you can’t help but take notes. Stay hydrated with lemon water and coconut water:
“Water not only keeps you energized but also cleanses your body, so you should drink at least eight cups of water a day,” Tracy says in the video. “Another thing you can add to your water, which may actually be surprising to you, is to add a squeeze of lemon, or maybe a little more, to your water every day.
“Lemon water is great for removing toxins, and it tastes so good. It’s so refreshing and gives you an extra burst of energy…it almost wakes you up a little bit,” she said. “Coconut water has all the added benefits of regular water. It helps with high blood pressure and is great for digestion.”
Exercise 3-5 times a week:
“You should exercise at least three to five times a week,” she advises. “Aerobic exercise is very important and great for heart health. When you move your body and get your energy flowing, you work better, think better, and concentrate better. Therefore, doing aerobic exercise is very important.”
Let’s stretch:
“I stretch at least three times a week,” she says. “It’s great for slowing down the aging process and keeping your body agile. Again, stretching is also good for energy flow. It cleanses your chakras and improves the flow of everything in your body.”
Regular aerobic exercise:
“Anything that actually gets your mind moving is great for you. My cardio routine is running or walking on the treadmill at least three times a week. I do 1 mile every time I get on the treadmill. You run, so if you can get a mile in every time you get on the treadmill, you’ll look good, have energy flowing, and keep your body in great shape.”
Get a good night’s rest:
“I try to get at least eight hours of sleep. And, yeah, it can be difficult sometimes, especially when I’m working or thinking about something or going through something in my personal life.” she says. “Sometimes, when I can’t sleep, I turn on my sound machine and listen to things like the sound of a river flowing. It helps me relax my mind and tune out all the other noise going on in my head, like worry and anxiety. Helps get rid of “work problems.” ”
soul self care
“I meditate and pray a lot,” Tracy says. “I meditate before going into prayer. For me, it’s time spent with myself and God. During a meditation or prayer session, I shut out everything else. Find a really quiet place and close your eyes. I often solve problems while meditating or praying, and when I come back from meditating or praying, I feel more clear and focused. I feel more powerful.”
