Tito’s Handmade Vodka
This Smoked Peach Mule will have you rethinking the way you drink your summer drinks.
If you’ve ever ordered a vodka cocktail, you’ve probably had Tito’s vodka, but you’ve usually enjoyed it mixed with a simple soda or juice. Lucky for those of us who need to hone our bartending skills at home, Tito’s has just released a new book. Spirit in a Bottle: The Story and Drink of Tito’s Handmade VodkaTheir mission is to help you make more fun and creative cocktails using common household ingredients and tools like a grill.
According to the book, this Smoked Peach Mule recipe gets amazing flavor from heat alone: ”Grilling juicy peaches not only caramelizes their natural sugars, but the charring transforms the fruit’s flavor, making it smoky and savory.” This sounds like the perfect way to add depth to a sweet and savory Moscow Mule.
“The ginger brings the heat, the lime adds a citrus kick, and one sip delivers the perfect balance of core flavors: sweet, savory, spicy, and sour,” the book continues. Plus, if you leave the grill on, you can whip up a quick, tasty dinner without having to go too far.
