Squatters are rapidly increasing in the United States, taking over people’s homes. Basically, if you want something that your neighbor has (including a house), you can take it in our society.

A Detroit squatter shared his story of being encouraged by others to do illegal activities. She also said that she had no intention of leaving the house because “here she has done a lot of work and spent a lot of money” and that she had “blamed herself” for stealing her neighbor’s electricity. I even call it “blessed.”
What if this increased squatting is more serious than a physical problem and actually reflects a spiritual reality?

Grace for Purpose draws a comparison between the increasing number of squatters and the demons that come to occupy humans.
“Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, consecrated to God and sacred,” the video says. “So, just as a squatter has no real legal right to own a home that he does not own, so too do demons have a right to own or squat on a Spirit-filled Christian. there is no.”
Squatters have no more right to live in our homes than the devil wants to remain in us as temples of the Holy Spirit. However, the evil spirit still tries to oppress and torment the Christian, hoping to return to his former homeland.
Matthew 12:43-45 says:
When an unclean spirit leaves a person, it passes through dry places in search of rest, but is not found. And it says, “I will return to the house from which I came.” And when it comes, you will find it empty, cleaned and organized. Then it goes and takes seven other spirits even more wicked than itself, and they enter and live there. And the last state of the person is worse than the first. So is this wicked generation.

The evil spirits try to return to the place they left and take their friends with them. That is why it is important that after deliverance a person is filled with the Holy Spirit, filled with the Word of God, and faithful to the truth.
