In fact, her friends and fraternity were often seen on social media bingeing on Farah Khan’s signature chicken roast and yakni pulao. What if I told you that she finally got the recipe for Yakni Pulao? You read it correctly! Farah Khan recently launched her YouTube channel. Her debut video was a recipe for this special dish. The filmmaker humorously referred to her Yakhni Pulao as ‘Lokhandwala Mine World Famous’. Within a day of its release, her hilarious video received positive responses from fans and celebrities alike.

How to make Farah Khan’s special Yakni Pulao?
The 9 minute 04 second video begins with Farah Khan scolding her house help for buying chicken instead of mutton for Prao. She then instructs the person to gather ingredients such as chopping onions, washing chicken, peeling potatoes, and grinding fresh garam masala at her home. Once that is done, she begins the process of making Yakni Pulao.

Farah Khan’s special Yakni Pulao step-by-step recipe:
Step 1. Add enough oil to the pressure cooker.
Step 2. Add jeera, chopped green chillies and chopped onions to the cooker.
Step 3. Add ginger garlic paste and simmer for a while.
Step 4. Add chicken and mix everything.
Step 5. Add garam masala and salt, mix and leave until the whistle sounds twice.
Step 6. Once the rice cooker has cooled down, open the lid and add the uncooked rice.
Step 7. Add enough dahi and pressure cook everything till 4 whistles.
